How I found my doctor
I heard about Dr. Galla from a girl-friend. When I phoned, an appointment was made for me immediately, for the following week.
I was given a friendly welcome at the clinic, and immediately felt that I was in good hands, because everyone was very friendly and I got the impression that it was professionally run and very clean.
The first meeting with the doctor
My doctor took his time and explained the procedure to me in great detail. We discussed what my expectations of the treatment were and the volume that I wanted injected. I always felt it was important that the end result would look natural and would suit me. Dr. Galla gave me useful advice as to what I had to be careful about both before and after the procedure. I felt I was extremely well prepared before undergoing the treatment.
The treatment and what it involved
The period between the first meeting with Dr. Galla and my treatment was about two months.
The procedure was carried out on a Friday morning at ten o’clock.
The medical team were expecting me and accompanied me into the treatment room after I’d changed. My partner waited for me in the waiting room, because the treatment was not going to take long.
All in all, I spent about two hours at the clinic, including the preparation time and the post-treatment checks.
Dr Galla gave me a local anaesthetic, so that there was no pain from the injection. This meant I was awake and was aware of everything that was going on. The nurses got me ready for the treatment on the couch and then the process started.
The injection was completely painless – all I felt was a slight pressure as the Macrolane was injected. They did my right breast first, then the left one. You could see the difference immediately.
After injection, Dr. Galla asked me if I wanted to look at the effect in the mirror – of course I did! When the nurse sat me up and I saw my new bust, I was extremely pleased.
After the procedure I felt a bit drained and tired, but there was no pain, which was what I had been dreading most. Of course my breasts felt tight, and I was conscious of the additional weight, but it was nothing like as bad as I’d been expecting.
My boyfriend then drove me home so that I could rest. But by the evening I was back on my feet again.
Shortly after the treatment
The feeling of tension and pressure in my breasts reduced after only two days, and after four I didn’t really sense any after-effects from the procedure at all.
From that point on, I was able to move about without any pain and even return to my sports activities again – although I was careful at the beginning. I wasn’t restricted at all at work because I don’t have to move about very much.
Two weeks after the Macrolane treatment
After two weeks I had an appointment for a check-up with Dr. Galla and we looked at the result in the mirror together.
I would do it again at any time, and I’m very pleased with the results. It has given me new self-confidence, and I no longer feel the need to conceal my upper body. My boyfriend likes the result a lot, too! :-)"
